These are the aircraft that go out. Each is shaped by where it has to fly rather than by what fits a standard airframe: a tube for the doorway, a folding micro for the pocket, a sealed heavy-lifter for weather and jamming.
A drone the size and shape of a hand grenade. It carries as a sealed vertical tube, unfolds its coaxial rotors in one motion, and flies in the spaces that are too tight for anything with arms — rooms, stairwells, tunnels, ships' passageways.
A waterproof FPV quadcopter with an unjammable control link, two hours of flight time and five kilograms of payload. It flies in weather that grounds other airframes and keeps flying in electromagnetic conditions that sever other links.
A very small aircraft with four folding arms, each carrying a coaxial rotor pair. It folds down to a slim tube for carry and opens into a full eight-rotor airframe in one motion.
